SCIENCE CLUB

During the year the Science Club members as well as our faculty were enlightened to current develop ments in the field of science by guest lecturers.

The Science Club is a student or ganization established to stimulate in the student an interest in science and also to bring to him a knowledge of current research and of the many op portunities open to him in the field of Science. This purpose is achieved chiefly through lectures. Student lec turers share the results of their sum mer training in research laboratories with members of the club. Faculty lec turers present various aspects of their particular field of interest. Guest lec turers, while providing information concerning current research work be ing done in their specific field of sci ence, give the student a view of the many areas of science open to him.

Officers of the Science Club are Frances Brescia (Treas.), Marita Angleton (Pres.), Glory Odgers (Vice Pres.) and Eleanor Smith (Sec.). 113
