Lesson 6- Working with Resource Pools



Procedures

1. Open the file containing the resource pool. 2. Select the desired option to open the resource pool file in the Open Resource Pool dialog box.

3. Select . 4. Make the desired changes and resave the file.



Open a pooled resource file.

Open Company Pool.mpp . The Open Resource Pool dialog box should open.

Click Open resource pool read-write so that you can make changes to resource information...

2. Select OK .

The resource pool opens.

Change the number of units for the 4 Laborer resource to 600% . Open Tudor and view the resource sheet. Notice that the Laborer resource is no longer overallocated.

Close Tudor and Resource Pool , saving the changes.
