2. Click the Object command.

The Insert Object dialog box opens .

3. Select the Create from File option.

The Create from File option is selected.

4. Select Browse .

The Browse dialog box opens.

5. Select the location of the image to be inserted. The image location is selected.

Select the drive and folder containing the student data files. Scroll as necessary and click House.BMP .

6. Select the desired image file. The image file is selected.

7. Select Insert .

The Browse dialog box closes and the path and name of the image file appears in the File box.

8. Select Link or Display as Icon as desired. The desired option is selected.

9. Select OK .

Click

The Insert Object dialog box closes and the object appears in the project view with selection handles around it.

Move the house image below the Gantt bars for tasks 2 and 3.

Practice the Concept: Switch to the Resource Sheet view. Double-click the 5 Surveyor resource to open the Resource Information dialog box. Select the Notes tab and use the Insert Object button (last button on the right) to insert the Surveyor.bmp image from the student data folder. Close the Resource Information dialog box and notice the Notes icon in the Indicators column. Double-click the icon to open the Notes page for the Surveyor resource. Close the Resource Information dialog box.

Split the window, activate the lower pane and change the details for the bottom pane to the Notes form from the Resource Form Tools tab. Notice that you can view and insert graphics in a Form view. Remove the window split.
