16. Select the Separator field.

Click the adjacent Separator field

The Separator field is selected and the Code preview box changes accordingly.

17. Select the Separator list.

A list of available separators appears.

Click the dash (-).

18. Select the desired separator.

The desired separator is selected.

For the second level, select Numbers with a length of 3 . ( Note: There is no need to change or remove the separator following the last level of the custom code as it is ignored.)

19. Continue to set the mask properties as desired. The mask properties are set.

20. Select OK.

The Edit Mask dialog box closes and the Edit Lookup Table for Accounting window is displayed.

21. Expand Data Entry Options

22. Check Allow additional items to be entered into the fields. (Values will be added to lookup). You can create the Lookup entries or import them from a spreadsheet. This allows you to add to the list.

The Outline Code Definition dialog box closes and the mask properties are saved.

The Custom Fields dialog box closes.

Select the Resource Name column and insert the Outline Code1 ( Accounting ) column to its left. Notice that the Accounting field now appears in the view. ( Note: When selecting the custom outline code field from the Field name list, it is also listed as Accounting (Outline Code1 ) .)
