The report appears in the Print Preview window.

Notice that the Plumber resource is over budget. Project 2013 displays a graphical representation of the data for the resource. Switch to Gantt Chart view.

C REATING A D ASHBOARD R EPORT

Discussion

The Dashboard report is a new type of report offered in Project 2013. It allows you to view dynamic reports based on your project data. The types of Dashboard reports are: Burndown, Cost Overview, Project Overview, Upcoming Tasks, and Work Overview.

Report Description Burndown This report displays how much work, how many tasks are completed, and what’s left to be done. Cost Overview

This report displays the current cost status of your project and its top-level tasks, showing planned costs, remaining costs, actual costs, cumulative costs, baseline costs, and percentage of completion to help you determine if your project will stay within budget. This report displays how much of your project is complete, upcoming milestones, and tasks that are past due (late tasks). This report displays the work that has been done in the current week, the status of any remaining tasks that were due, and what tasks are starting in the next week This report displays a work burndown for your project and the work stats for all top-level tasks so you’ll know the percentage of completion and what’s left to be done
