Ready for instant use, the new TDR helps determine the impedance of the cable under test, sets the unit accordingly and selects the optimum gain and pulse width. The TDR2010 features Megger’s Xpert mode for rapid identification of faults. When the Xpert key is pressed, the unit automatically adjusts the range and gain, while positioning the cursor to the first major fault on the cable. Cicoil has launched its EZ-Flexx™ flat cable configurator. This freeweb-based tool, which allows a user to design a custom flat cable, is accessed through the Cicoil website.
