tor. During the conversion works, Tino came across an old Swiss “Jass” play ing card and decided to name the new restaurant af ter the f igure depic ted on it: the Ober (or “Waiter”). The atmosphere up here is tru ly au- thentic. Dishes like knuck le of vea l and other tender meat morsels, delicious polenta, and wonder f u lly f resh vegetables are cooked on an open f ire, and ever y thing that is put on the plate f its in with the surroundings. In summer, Restaurant Ober is avail- able for seminars and par ties, and a lso hosts severa l cu linar y events as par t of Engel- berg’s summer programme. This year, guests are inv ited to join in a three-course murder myster y dinner on 20 June with sleuth Philip Ma loney, famous for solv ing hair-raising crimes ever y Sunday on radio station SRF 3. The programme a lso includes an over-40s par ty on 25 Ju ly, a mov ie screening on 15 Au- gust, and a humorous cu linar y evening on 12 September with Johnny Burn’s One Man
