Tell Pass

Over the next six months, several places in Engelberg will be showcasing various interesting art- works, such as those of Eduard Senn. Senn lived and worked at Pension Alpenrose on the outskirts of Engel- berg from 1925 to 1945. Engelberg and the surrounding area featured heavily in his work from this period. A repre- sentative selection will be on display at Hotel Waldegg until 3 August. The Tal Museum has always aimed to create a platform for lo- cal and national artists who have been inspired by the landscapes of the Engelberg region. Marie-Theres Amici of Lucerne, born in 1943, has been depicting these landscapes, particularly the local mountains, for many years. The exhibition of her work will run until 7 September 2014. Jana Röther’s photographs and paintings will be displayed at the Fürenalp mountain restaurant until 21 July 2014. The exhibition, entitled Im Hintergrund (In the background), is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The works of the late Ionel Müller, an artist from Baden who also designed the signets for Circus Monti, will be exhibited at the Hotel Europe on Monday to Saturday from 4 p.m. The sculptures and pictures of Beatrice Sala will be on display in the “Korndiele” of Grafenort manor until 15 June under the title “Evolution”. The exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Afternoon ap- pointments can be made by telephone.
