The highlight was a private tour of the queen's apartments at Stirling Castle. 1963 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Colleen Conway retired from rhe Oxnard Union High School District where she taught French and English ar Camarillo High School fo r 36 years. She plans to continue traveling, "a lifelong hobby and passion which has so far led to wonderful adventures in Europe, Africa and India." 1964 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Peter Beres retired from rhe San Diego County Probation Department in March 2002. His wife, Sheila, and he have lived in Hemet, Calif. , since 1999. They currently are building a summer home in Ocean Shores, Wash. Peter is active in senior men's softball, plays golf and is restoring two classic cars. ... Michaele Stevens is caring for her 90-year-old father. Her four children are successful in their cho– sen fields. She became grandmother to two boys in che summer of 2003. She would like to e-mail friends from the class of I964. 1965 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Father Francis Frankovich has been a priest si nce May 31, 1968. He served in the dioceses of San Diego and San Bernardino for 21 years. In 1989, he joined the Companions of the Cross in Onawa, Canada. He now serves with chem in Houston. ... Brenda (Bartek) Gomez retired from Oregon Stace University in Corvallis, Ore. She spends time volunteering and visiting family and friends throughout the United States with her husband. She has four children and five grand– children.... Lynn (Horobetz) Kerstan has been a full-time writer for IO years and is working on her 15th historical romance novel, Summer ofScandal, to be published by Penguin in July. Between dead-

lines, she conduces writing work– shops, gives speeches and does a little freelance editing. 1966 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Benton Beckley lives part-time in Lake Arrowhead, Calif. , where he has a house and rental property. 1967 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Father Giles Conwill is a history professor at Morehouse College in Atlanta. He is an expert in African American Catholic history, cacechesis and evangelizacion. Previously, he served at a number of parishes around the country and, from 1976 co 1980, was vocations director fo r the National Office for Black Catholics in Washington, D.C. 1968 UNDERGRADUATE ALUMNI Gwen (Branson) Roberts is Angeles, making puzzles to help children learn math and reports chat she's still playing chess. He studied law at Whittier College, was Sierra Club Southern California Water Resources Chair and was on the Sierra Club's California Legislative Committee through the late 1980s. He currently is secretary for the Salvation Army Booth Memorial Center in Los Angeles.
