DAYS 1-6 LISBON / SINTRA / DOURO RIVER Lisbon is a vibrant city with fantastic architecture, and Sintra is the scenic setting for the extraordinary Pena Palace. Explore the pilgrimage site of Fatima en route to Porto, then board the AmaVida . In Régua, taste Port wines at Quinta do Sexio, then visit the Baroque Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora dos Remédios in Lamego. DAYS 7-11 SALAMANCA, SPAIN / PORTO Enjoy a full day tour of Salamanca, followed by a visit to the charming hilltop village of Castelo Rodrigo. At a local quinta , taste traditional Portuguese cuisine and fine wines, and also savor a delicious meal at the 14th century Alpendura Monastery.
