INITIAL REASON FOR KLEENOIL INTERMEDIATE SITE VISIT Following initial installation of 25 x KLEENOIL HDU9778KU50 Hydraulic systems – it was reported that some may be inefficient or inoperative - KLEENOIL requested that we be able to visit – inspect – filter change – sample and report to enable rectification of any inconsistencies

• KLEENOIL have done several rectifications on previous visits to ensure unit working. We suspect the unit is being turned off in operation. Unit was reset and left running with no issues. • We would suggest to do a full hydraulic system pressure test on next visit to establish possible issues

• KLEENOIL have previously reported / advised that it would be good to completely change the oil on this machine – as it does run hot and consequently oil looks ‘burnt’.

Oil visually dark

• Unit was turned off at valve – so has not been operating. Unit was working well on initial installation and tested then at 3.5bar – this needs to be reset to be productive.

Future recommendations

KLEENOIL offer suggestions moving forward from observations made on the visit :

• There could be more guarding on the machines to protect hoses and handles

• Filler caps need to be checked to be an effective seal in preventing dust entering the oil tanks

• CORRUGATOR 4 – OVEN – possibly look at installing an oil cooler

• KLEENOIL will focus on machines with poor oil sample results, to work and bringing the levels into specification through additional filter changes and machine checks. • KLEENOIL will continually monitor all the units through the standard quarterly inspections and keep CEPEC updated
