YOUTH PROGRAMS

LITTLE SHOOTERS BASKETBALL CLINIC “Hoop it up” and join Little Shooters! This five-week clinic is for kids who are interested in learning the game of basketball in a fun and challenging environment. Players will learn the basic skills, fundamentals and techniques of the game (more advanced skills for more experienced players) and will be separated by age, size and skill level. We will work on ball handling, shooting, rebounding and defensive footwork, as well as have various shooting contests. There may also be some half-court game action depending on enrollment. Each participant receives a T-shirt. Community Center 1255 Fuller St. S. Day Dates Time Ages Cost Code INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE This fun league will give your little soccer fan a great workout while building character and teamwork skills. Players meet once a week and play in a friendly, fast-paced game of soccer. All equipment will be supplied and each player will receive a team shirt. Participants should bring a water bottle, dress in active wear and wear tennis shoes that tie or Velcro securely – no open toed/heeled footwear. Shin pads are optional. This class will teach leadership skills, supervision techniques, safety, emergency and first aid care, personal safety, feeding infants and young children along with the business aspect of babysitting. NO SCHOOL PROGRAMMING We’ll be offering full-day programs on no-school days this winter and spring, including winter break. ARROWHEADS ARCHERY This program utilizes the USA Archery curriculum. We’ve expanded to those that want skill level options or that have the desire to get involved in something fun at a competitive/team level. Equipment is provided (Mathews Genesis bows only) or you can use your own bow. Specify if you have your own bow during online registration or write it on your paper registration.
