Where are you from? I am originally from Lowell, Massachusetts but have lived in Maine for about 20 years. What schooling/training do you have?

I have an associates in Applied Science for PTA. I have many continuing education certificates from Summit and Cross-Country Education. I am a Certified Aerobics Instructor and fitness trainer but I do not maintain them as I do not formally use them anymore. I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist and certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner. How long have you been with Back in Motion ® ? I have been with Back in Motion in Brewer for almost a year now since the transition from Results Physical Therapy. I started with Results in June 2016. What is your best work story? I enjoy working with each one of my patients but I have one in particular that really stands out. He is man in his 70s who is the hardest working and most encouraging and positive person I know. He works two jobs and then goes home to help care for his wife who has had some health issues. He came to us for pre-op conditioning working extremely hard despite the discomfort in order to gain as much core and lower body strength as he could before surgery. He never missed an appointment and took on any challenge I threw at him. I was so excited when I was one of the first people he called after his surgery. He was able to get right up and lap the hospital halls daily. He thanked me and the clinic profusely as he was able to recover so quickly and get back to his daily routine in record time. What are your hobbies? I love to work out! I started at a very young age with my Mom working out to videos and have kept it up ever since. I love going to conventions and learning as much I can about the human body and how it works. I have so many books and DVDs I would never be able to get through them all in a life time. I also love music and attending live concerts. My son plays ice hockey so most of my extra time is spent cheering him on at his games which makes me so proud and happy to see him succeed in something he loves. What is one interesting fact about you that most people don’t know? I love cake!! Where do you see yourself in 10 years? I plan to continue to grow in the field taking in as much valuable information and experience as I can. My dream is to become a doctor of physical therapy as I love to help people obtain the best health and wellbeing possible to live a happy and healthy life.
