Induction into the Hall of Fame – Eileen Lafland

T he Maine Snowmobile Association is proud to announce the induction of Eileen Lafland into the Maine Snow mobile Association Hall of Fame in recognition of her extraordinary ded ication, leadership, and lifelong com mitment to snowmobiling in Maine. For anyone involved in snowmobil ing in Eastern Maine, Eileen’s name is synonymous with service, leadership, and volunteerism. As a dedicated member of five Eastern Region snow mobile clubs, she has spent decades helping strengthen and support Maine’s snowmobiling community. Since 2003, Eileen has served as East ern Region Vice President, providing steady leadership, guidance, and sup port to clubs and volunteers through out the region. Eileen’s contributions extend far

beyond her title. She has served on the Scholarship Committee, Steer ing Committee, and as Membership Chair, while also representing snow mobilers on the State of Maine Advi sory Council. In addition, she is the incoming MSA Executive Vice Presi dent — a reflection of the tremendous respect she has earned across the organization. Whether helping clubs navigate landowner issues, organiz ing regional meetings, mentoring vol unteers, or assisting with statewide initiatives, Eileen is always willing to step in wherever needed. Known for her positive attitude and unmatched work ethic, Eileen embod ies the true spirit of volunteerism. In an organization built on dedicated volunteers, she is someone who consistently goes above and beyond

to get the job done. Her extensive knowledge of snowmobiling, club operations, trail systems, and state legislation has made her an invalu able resource to clubs and members throughout Maine. Beyond her accomplishments, Eileen is admired for her kindness, welcoming nature, and ability to make everyone feel valued. Her leadership and passion for the sport have helped ensure that Maine continues to offer some of the finest snowmobile trails and club networks in the Northeast. The Maine Snowmobile Associa tion proudly congratulates Eileen Lafland on this well-deserved honor and thanks her for her many years of outstanding service and dedication to Maine snowmobiling.
