Induction into the Hall of Fame – Wright Pinkham Sr. T he Maine Snowmobile Association

Throughout his years of service, Wright helped secure grant funding for trail grooming operations and equipment purchases, often step ping forward personally to ensure the club’s success. His leadership extended beyond the local level as he also served as an MSA Regional Vice President and as a State Represen tative, where he consistently advo cated for snowmobiling and outdoor recreation. Known for his quiet leadership, gen erosity, and strong sense of commu nity, Wright became the backbone of the Lexington Highlanders and a respected figure throughout Maine’s snowmobiling community. Fellow club members describe him as hard working, dependable, and deeply

committed to preserving the traditions and future of snowmobiling. His home and clubhouse became gathering places where friendships were built and riders were always welcomed. Wright’s influence can still be seen today through the trails he helped build, the club he helped grow, and the many snowmobilers he inspired through his mentorship and example. His dedication, integrity, and passion for the sport have left a lasting legacy that will continue for generations to come. is proud to announce the induction of Wright Pinkham Sr. into the Maine Snowmobile Hall of Fame in recogni tion of his lifelong dedication, leader ship, and extraordinary contributions to snowmobiling in Western Maine and across the state. Wright was a founding member of the Lexington Highlanders Snowmo bile Club in 1984 and played an instru mental role in bringing the club into the Maine Snowmobile Association just one year later. For decades, he served as trail master, club president, grant writer, organizer, and mentor, dedicating countless hours to main taining and improving trails for rid ers to safely enjoy. Even before the club was formally established, Wright personally groomed and maintained
