New wind facility

Lincoln Clean Energy (LCE), the US onshore subsidiary of Ørsted, is ready to begin work on the 230MW Plum Creek wind facility in Wayne County, Nebraska. It will begin operations during 2020, bringing LCE’s total wind farm capacity up to 670MW across Texas, Nebraska and North Dakota. Declan Flanagan, CEO of LCE, said in a press release: “Plum Creek is an excellent addition to the growing LCE portfolio, and

expands our geographic footprint in the attractive Southwest Power Pool market, which serves the central United States.” LCE has long-term power purchase agreements with JM Smucker Company, Vail Resorts and Avery Dennison Corporation.
