The kit comprises two modules: the transmitter is connected to the circuit, and the receiver detects the signal in the wires or cables behind walls, ceilings and floors. The AT-6010-TE transmitter module works on circuits up to 600V AC/DC in category I, II and III electrical environments. The AT-6010-RE receiver module features a large LCD screen with an energized/de-

energized indicator, a two-digit readout and a bar graph showing signal strength; a sound indicator to determine wire location; and sensitivity adjustment. The receiver’s tip sensor can be used to trace wires in corners, tight spaces and junction boxes.

The transmitter features a high signal mode for general tracing and a loop mode designed specifically for locating shorts, as well as two optimal tracing frequencies that are automatically activated based on the detected voltage. Amongst other applications, the Beha- Amprobe AT-6010-EUR can be used for finding breaks, open circuits and shorts; tracing shielded wires, or wires in metal conduit; tracing low-voltage wires and data cables; and for sorting bundled wires. The AT-6010-EUR is compatible with the Beha-Amprobe CT-400-EUR signal clamp accessory for inducing a tracing signal on the cable when there is no access to bare conductors.
