Investing in the future, RETA purchases new headquarters building

Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association has purchased a new headquarters building and has moved its o ces to 1725 Ferry St. SW, Albany, Oregon 97322. RETA Executive Director Jim Barron said the Association outgrew its current space. e new building will be better equipped for the Association’s needs. “RETA has been dealing with a problem for the last year,” Barron said. “And it’s a great problem to have: We’ve increased our membership, certi cation, education, and member engagement to a point that we’ve outgrown our current o ce, storage, and meeting space.” e 10,400 square-foot building for the new RETA headquarters includes 10 o ces, 6,000 square-feet of conference storage, and a large conference room that can easily seat 40 people for in- person and virtual meetings.

“Our employees are dedicated to providing superior service to our members and the upgraded technology the o ce o ers will provide tools to deliver high quality service,” explained Barron. “Our new building will
