They either lived in an area where traffic was to busy and un - safe or they simply didn ’ t have the space. The resolution turned out to be a spectacular addition into our community events line - up. We have hosted two Community Yard Sales this year, each one evolving and growing. This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to gather, sell and savor a treat or two! We look forward to continuing to grow this event. Our youth sports continue to remain steady in registrations. We have expanded our varieties to now include T - ball and several other opportunities. New this year, thanks to another outstanding partnership with Brazili an United, we were able to offer a Soccer Summer Camp. Receiving positive feedback we are looking for ward to offering more soccer opportunities year round. We would not be able to offer these youth sport op portunities without our Volunteer Coaches. Many have coached over several years and sports within our de partment. They play a vital role in helping to foster a positive community within our youth athletes. As we look ahead to FY 25 - 26 we are excited to continue our connection to the community. I would like to extend a huge thank you to Matt Willis, Assistant Director, Natalie St Onge, Recreation Programmer and Mike Gervais, Childcare Services Program, as well as the entire Buxton Recreation Team. They have put in numerous hours each day and work tirelessly to make sure the Buxton community has programs, events and activities that help shape a positive and healthy future.
