The wine is well balanced and drinking well in its youth. $16.98 $21.99 PARALLEL 45 COTES-DU-RHONE ROUGE 2022 Rated 90 by Vinous The Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre, and Marselan grapes for Parallèle 45 are farmed organically. They grow on 40-year-old vines in clayey limestone and alluvial deposits composed of round pebbles. The grapes are destemmed, crushed, and the juice undergoes fermentation. The wine is then aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats and tronconic French oak vats on fine lees. The mouth is soft and substantial, with round, mouth-filling tannins layering smoothly with the densely packed flavors of chocolate-covered cherries, spicy black plum, and smoky espresso. $16.98 $21.99 GROCHAU CELLARS COMMUTER CUVEE PINOT NOIR 2023 The Commuter Cuvée is a blend of 11 vineyards, located all over the Willamette Valley. Each vineyard lot is fermented separately and aged in a mix of 70% French oak, 15% stainless steel, and 15% concrete tanks. The wine is aged for 9 months before bottling. We use very little new oak in this wine, as we are aiming to make a fresh and pure expression of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. The palate is medium weight, with juicy acids, and structuring tannins. Due to the cool nature of the vintage, we did a light fining on some of the lots in this blend. We used a pea based protein for fining, so the Commuter is vegan-friendly! $18.99 $22.99 AR GUENTOTA MALBEC 2019 Rated 90 by James Suckling Deep ruby red with violet tones. Intense and complex bouquet with red and black fruit notes (blueberry, blackberry, etc.). Well balanced, elegant and persistent aftertaste. This wine pairs well with Mexican food.
