Experiment: Sound travels along string. Make your own telephone out of cups and string to try it out!

1. Poke a hole in the middle of the bottom of the cups with a pin.

2. Cut string so it is 10-60 feet long.

3. Put the string through the hole on the bottom of each cup.

4. Tie a knot on each end of the string.
