COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAMS The Shakopee Community Center offers a variety of fitness and play activities for all ages. If you have questions about any of these programs, call us at 952-233-9500 during Community Center hours.

OPEN GYM Available the majority of the time. As demand for space and programs increases, open gym is not available at all times. Please call ahead to confirm open gym availability at 952-233-9500 or visit www.ShakopeeMN.gov to view schedules for the East andWest gyms. ADULT OPEN BASKETBALL Pick up games for those 18 and up. COMMUNITY CENTER PROGRAMS

FITNESS ORIENTATIONS Get acquainted with our Fitness Center equipment. Fitness staff will explain and demonstrate the proper use and settings of cardio and strength training equipment during this one-hour orientation. Check in at the fitness desk. Pre-registration required. An orientation is required for youth 12- 13 before using the fitness equipment. When checking in at the front desk, youth will be given a wristband, indicating they have attended an orientation and are allowed to exercise on the fitness floor. WALKING TRACK FREE to the public. Sign in at the front desk. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult/ parent. Periodic closures may occur due to recreational programming. FAMILY WALKING TIME FREE to the public. Sign in at the front desk. Strollers are permitted to use the inside lane, single file. Children must be supervised. WHEN: 10-11 a.m. and 3-5 p.m. Daily

CC KIDS PLAYTIME Bring your clean trikes, riding toys, or play items in addition to what is provided. Parental supervision is required. No food or beverages allowed in the gyms. Day care ratio is 1:8.
