Three-time Wrangler NFR qualifier looking for return trip

BY CASSIE EMERSON B lake Knowles has accomplished quite a bit in his professional rodeo career, including three trips to the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. Sometimes winning your hometown rodeo proves to be a harder feat than most other rodeos. But Knowles now gets to cross that off his list

after capturing the win at the Farm-City Pro Rodeo in Hermiston, Ore., Aug. 11. Knowles won the first round with a 3.4-second run, split fifth in the second round with a 4.0-second run, and won the average with 7.4 seconds on two head to earn a total of $5,101. “I started off that day on kind of a high note; I drew a steer I really wanted to run,” Knowles said.
