Themajorityof theCommission’s revenue iscollected in thefirst quarter each year. For Q1 2019, 93% or $27.5 million dollars, of the largest revenuesource (insurancecarrier andself-insurance tax assessments) was collected/deposited. WebFile has been expanded to include a portal for self-insurers, which allows them to submit their annual reports and to make changes to their data as required by the Commission. Currently, this portal is only available to a Beta Group.

• Because We Care Package Drive – A collection drive to donate items and write letters to soldiers of the National Guard’s 529th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion serving in the Middle East. • Plarning (ongoing) – VWC donated hundreds of plastic bags to be turned into plarn (plastic yarn) and later made into mats for the homeless. • Relay for Life (ongoing) - VWC has asked employees who are interested to help the American Cancer Society raise funds to support patient programs and groundbreaking research that can help save lives and celebrate over 15.5 million cancer survivors nationwide. The VWC Community Service Committee participated in three outreach efforts:
