New automatic wire straightening and cutting-off machine Vitari, Italy, has launched the NR222 automatic wire straightening and cutting-off machine, which can process wires from ø2 to 10mm, with feeding speed electronically variable from 30 to 200m/min. Main characteristics include bar length measuring made by an encoder and wire cutting realised by brushless servomotor. The collecting bench of the machine is modular, composed of cutting bench of 3, 6, 9 or 12 metres. The machine is equipped with a movable stopping device: a display shows the operator the required bar length size, and the stopping device can be moved manually to the correct position in order to obtain a more exact bar length. Vitari has over 80 years’ experience in the manufacture of wire processing machines, including nail, chain, gabion, chain-link fencing, high-tensile barbed wire and dress hanger machines.
