Captain Tess Brunstein (formerly Kornacki) - Regular Army officer and presently a doctor of dentistry at Fort Leaveworth, Kansas. Tess has been a life-long horse- woman since she was old enough to walk, starting with ponies and advancing to serious horses and foxhunting. These days she also includes eventing (as time and Army allow). She was a member of US Pony Club for most of the years of her youth. She has also served an Army tour in Korea for a year and took the opportunity while in Asia to get into the "back woods" of Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines. She was always on the lookout for horses, but sometimes had to substitute an elephant. Her present horse is an off-the-track thoroughbred that she loves and has trained for cross-country and foxhunting. Captain Erin Fetzer (formerly Kornacki) - Erin is a regular Army officer and presently a physician assistant for ele- ments of the 1st Infantry Division at Fort Riley. In this capacity she has served in Poland for some 10 months and traveled throughout Europe where she has also kept a keen eye out for horses. She has visited the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, Austria and is proud of the US Army which preserved the breed in 1945, wresting the Lipizzaner horses from Russian control. She too, as her twin sister, has been a rider since she was old enough to walk, a Pony Clubber, a life-long foxhunter and is presently teaching a Thoroughbred-Shire cross the subtle benefits of dressage as well as cross country riding and foxhunting.
