They are sturdy, hearty horses that have been toughened genetically from natural envi- ronments. Very diverse in uses, they are becoming a more sought after breed. register DNA and track all Lippitts. The Lippitt Morgan horse is recognized as a “rare living antique” coming from a small gene pool. Today, it has been estimated that there are fewer than 2,000 living Lippitts of which there are even fewer breedable mares. The rare Morgan family is truly endangered and teeters on the brink of extinction. The Lippitt Morgan Horse Registry, Inc. will maintain assistance in rescues as well as pro- viding educational materials upon request. Catch them in the Endangered and At-Risk Breed Showcase daily. and presence, and responsive attitude, the Paso Fino is indeed a rare and desirable equine partner. Often considered the Cadillac of horses—one ride will show you why. The High Plains Paso Fino Horse Association was organized in the summer of 1998 with 66 members and 210 horses. One of the purposes of the formation of this new region was to have a smaller geographical territory with a higher concentration of members so we could become more involved together in the name of our Paso Fino horses. Since then, our membership has grown to over 100 members. Activities include the American Royal Show, the American Royal Parade in Kansas City, Missouri, Beef Empire Days parade in Garden City, Kansas, co-sponsoring the Gait to the Future show in Tulsa, Oklahoma, organizing a new show in Springfield, Missouri, participating in Equi-Fest, and participating in several all-breed shows. Check out the Flynt Hills Gypsy Vanners in the Stall Barn and see them daily in the Breed Showcase. Friday 2:00pm in TPEC Arena
