A warden’s appreciation At the West Tennessee State Penitentiary, Warden Johnny Fritz made sure every employee and officer knew they were appreciated for their work, especially during COVID-19. He visited every employee during every shift and gave them a letter to thank them for their hard work during this time.

Health and safety for all Statewide mass testing for COVID-19 occurred at TDOC’s facilities. This was done to every officer, employee and inmate in order to help stop the spread of the virus in their facilities and communities.
