IIe‐f.  Update on Terms of Reference for Committees on Safety and  Statistics 

Both chairs of the Committee on Safety and the Committee on Statistics initiated the review  of their committee Terms of Reference.   This effort is still continuing.  However, these  committees operate under the guidance of the Official Methods Board.  As it has been some  time since the committees’ Terms of Reference has been reviewed and in light of the  changes in the last few years of AOAC, it would be good for OMB to consider the role of  these committees and active volunteers.    RECOMMENDATION:   For OMB to provide guidance to the committees on their function in  an evolved.
