PF Milks and Yoghurts PF milk is a full fat condensed milk recommended by paediatricians for children of school age. Containing cream and all essential nutritional components, it is the ideal milk for children starting school. The excellent quality is assured through the strict models and the continuous controls conducted in the labora- tories of the specialised PF Children’s Nutrition units. PF yoghurts are produced from top-quality fresh milk at the new plant. Please have a look at the whole PF range at our PF website. Efficient lighting and the environment PF is acutely aware that energy savings and the benefits that daylighted spaces have a great influence on performance. ELECTRO , a manufacturer of lighting-control products, has developed a lighting- control best-practices scheme to help companies decide how best to illuminate their buildings. The new PF production environment in the plant is to be controlled more effi- ciently by using sensors and automated systems that regulate when and where lights are on and how brightly they shine. Exterior spaces, including parking lots, are to have lighting systems controlled by clocks as well as photocells that turn on lights at dusk and turn them off at dawn. To enhance security on a campus or parking lot, facilities should have adequate night lighting with manual controls for after-hours use. As a result, the lighting will create an atmosphere which is almost futuristic. Packaging and the Environment (INDUSTRIAL DESIGN) PF’s new plant is to make use of readily recyclable packaging materials such as pulp, paper and corrugated materials. Offset printing, amongst other things, opens up the latest techniques to manu- facturers of dairy, juice, wine and other liquid food products. CCTV surveillance system (AUTOMATION) For the new location PF will operate the latest techniques in traffic handling, sur- veillance and security. The new PF plant will have a number of different types of cameras installed, such as Dome Cameras, Infrared Cameras, PTZ Cameras, and Vandal Proof Cameras. The latest techniques in digital video recording will capture the surveillance ima- ges. Finally the plant will dispose of a security monitor or set of security monitors in order to view the surveillance cameras in real time. CCTV cameras will be installed to transmit signals to a specific, limited set of security monitors. CCTVs will allow PF to view and record high-risk areas to deter theft and crime, control inventory and increase productivity.
