Pipeline protection at the heart of Edinburgh conference The 17 th international conference on pipeline protection will be held at the Roxburghe Hotel in Edinburgh, UK, from 17-19 October 2007. The conference, now in its fourth decade, aims to bring together experts in pipeline technology to face the challenges of major operational obstacles. In addition to the regular key issues, the conference will focus on pipeline integrity as a major theme. Safety and security are paramount for suppliers and operators alike, and in some countries certification is already demanded as proof of standard.
