4x4 Temporarily Disabled

Displays when the system turns off the clutch due to excessive stress. The system automatically turns on the clutch after it cools. Displays when the 4X4 system has been restored to its original setting. Displays when the 4X4 system temporarily turns on 4H from 4A after detecting driving conditions that requiregreater 4X4performance. The systemautomat- ically returns to 4A after the system no longer detects these driving conditions.

Keys and Intelligent Access

A reminder to press the brake while starting the vehicle. The systemdoes not detect a key in your vehicle. See Keyless Starting (page 168). You pressed the StartStop button to switch off the engine and your vehicle does not detect your intelligent access key inside your vehicle. There is a problem with your vehicle’s starting system. See an authorized dealer for service. You have successfully programmed an intelligent access key to the system. You have failed to program an intelligent access key to the system. Your vehicle is in the run ignition state.
