Binkie Boxer, Marguerite Bowman and David Rich weighed in on the May photo, but no one answered all questions correctly. The houses abutting the West End "Cricks" were built for members of the Ricker family. They are owned by Gary Ross and the Bowman Estate. The fish house on the right was given to Poochie Ross, and he moved it across the Cricks. He left it to Pat Murray who moved it next to his house. The smallest buildings were outhouses ! June Mystery Photo The original owner was a skilled island builder who built the Houghton and Frizzell homes for two of his cousins, who were like sisters to him. Who was the builder? The last Johnson resident was Mildred. What was her occupation? Answers to: info@ChebeagueHistory.org
