Abbreviations Decoded Real estate listings often use abbreviations to get the most information into an advertisement as possible. It’s great if you know“listing speak,” but if you’re new to the game, it may take some getting used to. If you’re reading the ad using an app or listing website, you can try to link to the listing agent’s website directly. There may be a full, non-abbreviation laden description there. In the meantime, here are some common abbreviations and what they mean:

w/ = with pc = piece bds, bdrms = bedrooms bth = bathrooms rm = room

isl = kitchen island bsmt = basement WO bsmt = walk out basement m/f = main floor mbr = master bedroom o/s = oversized f/fin = fully finished
