November 2014 BEACON

N ovember already, I can’t believe how fast time went by this past year. It feels like it was just yesterday that we were making our first trip over to the island. Even though the time has flown past, looking back I can say we had a lot of good times with great friends this past year. We had great participation in the last two work parties to close down the Island. It was really nice to see so many jump in to help and it made the closing down process very smooth. I already am looking forward to opening the club back up next spring.

With much thought and consideration, we have made a few changes in director positions for next year but most have remained in their current position: Darryl Campbell – Transportation, Ian Blackburn – Supplies, Kim Miedema – Activities, Brian Malik – Membership, Brent Malik – Publications, Frank Corcoran – Treasurer, Randy Pagel – Secretary, Don Reiss – Harbor & Grounds, P/C Hugh Vestal – Clubhouse I look forward to seeing many of you at the General Membership meeting on November 22nd at Barrister Gardens.
