Travel and exposure to new color combinations and color meanings has always had a tremendous influence on design. With the ease of world travel, and particularly the reopening of Cuba’s borders, we’re seeing this phenomenon again. Bright, optimistic patterns and colors with a Havanan flair are finding their way into fashion and interior designs. On the opposite end of the spectrum, as part of our desire to reconnect with nature, rustic colors and patterns from the Scottish isles are enjoying newfound popularity.
