THE INCOEPOEATED LAW SOCIETY OF IRELAND. At the Preliminary Examination for candidates seeking to be bound as apprentices to solicitors, held upon the 18th and 19th days of May, 1905, the fol lowing passed the examination, and their names are arranged in order of merit:—1. Michael O'Shea; 1. Philip S. M'Donnell; 3. Samuel Tarrant; a>. Eobert A. P." Carey. The following have passed the Special Preliminary Examination for which they had liberty to present themselves :—John E. M'Court, Charles J. Eeddy, Alfred E. Walker. The remaining candidates are postponed. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATIONS PRIZES, 1904-1905. A gold medal has been awarded to James Orr Hamilton, a silver medal to William Shaw, and a. special certificate to Eichard B. M'Keown. ^ At the Final Examination for apprentices seeking admission as solicitors, held upon the 22nd and 23rd days of .May, 1905, the following passed the exami nation, and their names are arranged in order of merit :—1. John B. Lynch, B.A., B.U.I. ; 2. William E. O'Brien, B.A., T.C.D.; 3. Patrick J. O'Eorke; 4. James Cooper, junior; 5. Alexander E. Donnelly, B.A., E.U.I.; 6. Louis E. O'Dea; 7. Ezekiel D. Wiley, B.A., E.U.I.; 8. William King; 9. James M'Court, junior; 10. William A. Moran; 11. Thomas Clai-ke; 12. Cecil L. Smith, B.A., T.C.D. ; 13. Albert E. Quinnell; 14. Michael J. Spain; 15. Herbert M'Williamt 16.' Willoughby Wilson; 17. Erroll Burton; 18. John Beggs; 19. Hugh Harper; 20. Gerald, P. Doran. The Court of Examiners have awarded a Golii Medal to John B. Lynch, Silver Medals to William E. O'Brien and Patrick J. O'Eorke, and Special Cer tificates to James Cooper, junior, and Alexander E. Donnelly. The remaining candidates are postponed. By Order, WM.
