The Art House

A Midsummer Night’s Dream - June 4 Love is in the air, but so is mischief. Don't miss Bell Shakespeare's stunning retelling of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Fresh from its sellout opening season at Sydney Opera House, this darkly whimsical production promises magic and mayhem. The One Who Planted Trees - June 12 Bandicoot, Koala, and a very fun-loving Frilled-Neck Lizard are just some of the puppet’s kids will meet in this inspirational fight-for the-planet story plus pre-show live animal experience! An Evening with the ACO Collective Quartet - June 18 Witness the ACO Collective Quartet in an intimate black box environment, set in The Art House’s studio space, audiences will experience the full goosebump sensation. Ride The Cyclone - June 28 & 29 An exhilarating dark comedy musical, full of witty songs, and memorable characters that took the US by storm. Get on board the roller coaster for this Australian debut! Macy Gray - July 10 Macy Gray will be performing her 25th Anniversary Tour in The Art House’s intimate 500-seat theatre. Nowhere else will you see an international award-winning performer of this calibre on the Central Coast. Eskimo Joe - July 13 The high-quality music acts keep coming with Eskimo Joe. The Australian alternative rock legends are coming as part of their national acoustic tour. Pete Helliar Gives Zero Flips - July 19 Move over Russell Brand and Matt Rife, comedy has a new bad boy. Loveable larrikin and Aussie comedy royalty Pete Helliar has gone bad in his new show – Pete Helliar Gives Zero Flips. BANG ON - LIVE – Myf Warhurst & Zan Rowe - July 27 Everyone’s favourite music journalists and presenters, Myf Warhurst & Zan Rowe have taken their hit podcast on the road and will be live on-stage! Trophy Boys - August 2 Power, privilege, and high school debating? Trophy Boys is a hilariously clever deep dive into toxic masculinity and private school culture. Equal parts satire, camp, and Lynx Africa, this new piece of Indie theatre blew up in Melbourne and now it's heading your way. Mel Buttle – Not Here to Put Socks on Centipedes - August 2 The most beloved comedic mum on TikTok and a regular TV presenter and comic personality, Mel Buttle will be letting loose this year (so she says). Grug - August 5 For the littlies, based on the famous Australian book series, they can watch Grug come to life and waddle his way around the stage. La Bohéme – Opera Australia - August 20 Opera Australia's La Bohéme is a touching tale set among the fishnets and fairy lights of 1930s Britain. This is the original story that inspired hit musicals like RENT and Moulin Rouge!"
