• AtlantiCare launched installation of the first of two new linear accelerators to enhance radiation oncology services. • Neurosciences opened a second interventional radiology (IR) angiography suite to treat acute stroke patients requiring emergent and non-emergent endovascular neurological intervention. • Collaborated with diabetes educators and Health Engagement team to screen, educate, and treat bariatric surgery patients for diabetes. • The Musculoskeletal Center completed over 70 successful same-day joint surgeries in 2018. • ARMC participated in OperationWalk, and our patients were the first in New Jersey to benefit from this program. • Endovascular launched the first endoscopic ampullectomy, first axios stent, and first endoscopic fistula closure. • Internal medicine hospitalists expanded provider coverage with the addition of a nocturnist advanced practice nurse (APN) five nights a week. • HealthPlex Pharmacy began a mail-order service for infectious disease patients to increase the dispensing of HIV medications. • Pharmacy expanded the Anticoagulation Clinical for a total of two sites. • Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) exceeded actual volume of prior fiscal years by 74 percent. • The Emergency Satellite Department implemented observation patient status for 24-hour stays. • Enhanced the Cerner Healthe Intent enterprise data warehouse (EDW) pilot to include oncology bundle, access dashboard, and ACO reporting. • Go-live implementation of the clinical documentation and hardware installation to support the pediatric practice at the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). • Implemented the electronic health record and programmanagement software required for the Program for All-inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) LIFE Connection program. • Launched a medical-legal partnership at the HealthPlex, providing our patients at Mission Healthcare important legal services to address health-harming legal needs. • Launched several new programs aimed at attracting new donors to our organization. These include efforts to engage retirees, second homeowners, and individuals planning their estates, among others. • Fully deployed Instagram as new, additional social media platform for the organization. • Exceeded FY18 social media audience growth target (12.5 percent) by 120.9 percent across all platforms. Total growth was 133.4 percent (as of March 30, 2018). • Achieved substantially higher weekly engagement on Facebook over competitors. • Expanded participation in events by leveraging Facebook events for public registration and attendance. • The LifeCenter fully deployed the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) fitness program, which is the only non-fee-based program of its kind in southern New Jersey. Collaborated with Ornish Intensive Cardiac Rehab team to expand program days. • Offered free Zumba classes on the Atlantic City boardwalk to nearly 2,000 participants.
