• Maximized 340-B Program to achieve a savings of over $13.3 million (inpatient and outpatient). • ARMC developed and implemented an Orbactiv protocol for the treatment of cellulitis in order to facilitate hospital discharges, reduce length of stay, and prevent hospital admissions. • Clinical Effectiveness Steering Committee recognized seven (Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) teams that reduced length-of-stay by 1.68 days compared to baseline. • Process Management Office worked with Nursing to standardized floor stocks across campuses, yielding $188,000 in savings. • Process Management Office led the implementation of Obstetrics Labor and Delivery Triage with $500,000 in new facility revenue during the first six months. • Process Management Office and Finance implemented a multi-year, system-wide benchmarking initiative with IBM/Truven ActionOI, in conjunction with Geisinger Health System. • Pharmacy service line and Cardiac Cath Lab reduced Lab drug spend in excess of $150,000. • Expanded our professional billing/coding audit processes, creating a sustainable process that has resulted in more consistent audit results, increased provider reviews, and enhanced provider education. • Secured more than $550,000 in new grant acquisitions to fund programming to support pediatric asthma and pre-diabetes assessments at the HealthPlex, and the integration of behavioral health into primary care at the Specialized Care Center. • Marketing and Communications continued standardization of costs and setup of print collateral, achieving greater cost reduction and stability, as well as reducing estimate wait times and staff time/communication. • Executed new shared savings contract with AmeriHealth. • Successfully completed first year of CPC+ program for Primary Care Plus sites.
