F rom July 5 to August 15, the Salle des Etoiles presents eleven exceptional shows selected by Alfonso Ciulla, artistic director of Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. W ith Giorgia, rap sensation Will Smith, the disco rhythms of Kool & the Gang and other music legends, the spotlight is on a summer under the stars. The summer musical highlight in the Principality is here. In the iconic Salle des Étoiles, the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival kicks off its 18 th edition. The celebrations begin with two significant charity evenings. First, on July 5 th , we will enjoy the choruses of Jean-Jacques Goldman. As fans await their idol’s return to the stage, the Goldmen will perform beloved classics such as « Envole-moi, » « Il suffira d’un signe, » and « Encore un matin, » among numerous other hits, all in support of the Fight Aids Monaco evening. Then, on July 12 th , the Monaco Red Cross Gala features the legendary Billy Idol, a rebellious punk and rock icon famous for his electrifying stage presence. Carlos Santana, who, with his band, will fuse rock, blues, and Latin rhythms for an unforgettable night on 23 rd July. Meanwhile, Paul Kalkbrenner will ignite the dancefloor on 24 th July as we delve back into the world of one of England’s most mesmerising rock bands, The Dire Straits Experience, featuring original saxophonist Chris White. Ballads and flamboyant guitars Other notable acts include the Scorpions, whose music has captivated audiences worldwide. These hard rock legends will perform in Monaco on July 26 th . If you haven’t experienced a Will Smith concert yet, mark your calendars for a spectacular show on August 2 nd . He’s famous for his role in Men in Black and for performing its iconic soundtrack! On August 13 th , prepare for a disco revival with Kool & The Gang and their energetic anthems. Finally, Giorgia, the celebrated voice of Italian music and a Sanremo Festival champion, will wrap up this wonderfully diverse season on August 15 th . ■
