Quality is measurable from Sikora

Sikora provides innovative system solutions for diameter measuring devices, and the Laser 2000 series represents a remarkable generation of measurement and control equipment. The smallest gauge head, the Laser 2003 XY, offers an XY-diameter measurement for ultra fine wires with diameters from 0.05mm up to a maximum of 3mm. in combination with impulse-driven laser diodes and the use of powerful processors, allow extremely short exposure times of 0.2µsec. Vibrations of the product to be measured have no influence on the measurement. The gauge head does not include any optical elements. With the additional use of state-of-the-art-SMD technique this extremely small and very powerful gauge head is universally applicable to almost every place on the production line. Not only does the Laser 2000 series stand out because of the nearly unlimited durability of its laser diodes, but also because of the measurement principle without moving parts. Progressive CCD-technique,

produces gauge heads for a precise diameter measurement, inclusive the minimum and maximum values, of the ovality and the direction or of the angle. For the precise measurement of straight sector conductors there is the Laser 2000S/R. These gauge heads were specially developed for the measurement of the height at straight sectors of 60°, 90° or 120°. These gauge heads ensure a precise dia- meter measurement for pre-spiralled conductors and round cables. At this application a gauge head of the S/R series is installed before and after the extruder, whereby the Ecocontrol 2000 is used to calculate the applied wall thickness. For the on-line acquisition of double, triple or multi-wire flat cables as well as for round conductors, the Laser 2030XY-F/R offers an exact measure- ment of the width and the height of the diameter – even if the product turns up to ±15 degree.

A special feature of the laser systems Laser 2030 XY to Laser 2300 XY is the swivelling gauge head, which can easily be moved upwards from the working area. This conception also prevents the gauge head from dirt and water drops falling into the measuring area. The Laser 2300 XY impresses through its outstanding specific adaptability of very large product diameters, as they are increasingly demanded by the hose and tube industry. With the Laser 2010T, the Laser 2025T and the Laser 2050T, Sikora also From left, the triple-axis gauge heads Laser 2010 T, Laser 2025 T and the Laser 2050 m
