Suggested choices ESB aims to encourage and realise the potential of all learners and we recognise that each learner has unique interests. Students are free to choose any pieces of poetry, drama and prose that they will enjoy presenting. However, if you are looking for appropriate choices for them, we do suggest the poets and authors listed below. Please note that any text that is part of an A Level English syllabus is also considered as an appropriate choice.
