How / Do we recognize the terminal patient ?

UK Social Security legislation terminal illness is defined as: “a progressive disease where death as a consequence of that disease can reasonably be expected within 6 months ”. WIKIPEDIA: “terminal illness is a disease that cannot be cured or adequately treated and that is reasonably expected to result in the death of the patient within a short period of time . ” ”
