• Median survival with inoperable NSCLC Ø PS 2 - 3 or mets: 120 days

Ø Asymptomatic § No treatment; no toxicity; no loss of survival

Ø Symptomatic § 1 treatment for equivalent symptom control and toxicity to longer treatment

§ BUT…will any patients live longer with 20Gy/39Gy
