Protocols for the Use and Reproduction Bearing the Seal of the FBINA & FBINAA, Inc.: The Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation has authorized the National Boardof theFBINAA, Inc., toauthorizeand limit theuseof the official Seal of the FBI National Academy, pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 709. The authorization includes responsibility to ensure that the use of and/or reproduction of the Seal follows the standards provided in this guidebook. The FBINAA is acting as a steward of the Seal andmust approve its use.

The FBI National AcademyAssociates, Inc. (FBINAA) is a non- profit, international organization of 16,000+ senior law enforcement professionals dedicated to providing our communities, states, countries, and profession with the highest degree of law enforcement expertise, training, education, and information.

Members are graduates of the FBI’s prestigious National Academy program, representing all 50 states, 194 countries and over 8,200 law enforcement agencies. Over 53,000 graduates have completed the FBINA program. FBINAA members make up the highest 1% of all senior law enforcement in the world. The Best of the Best. FBINAA Stewards of the Seal

The FBINAA has been authorized by the FBI Director to authorize and limit the use of the official Seal of the FBI National Academy. The FBINAA are stewards of the use of the Seal. Please followthe protocol depending on your use of the FBI National Academyofficial Seal. 1. All requests to reproduce the Seal and to produce items for use and or salewhich bear the Seal must be submitted to the National Office for approval. 2. The requesting entitywill be providedwith a copy of the official Seal andwill be directed to submit a sample product for approval, prior to production. 3. All entities approved to reproduce the Seal on merchandise for salemust sign a contract between entity and FBINAA. Submit request to FBINAA National Office.

The official Seal will be provided to Chapters at no cost for the purpose of chapter use on items that are not for profit sale items. ■ Submit request to FBINAA ■ Receive Seal and provide to vendor ■ Vendor sends product sample to FBINAA to approve

■ Submit request to FBINAA ■ Receive Seal and provide to vendor ■ Vendor sends product sample to FBINAA to approve prior to production

■ Submit request for use contract to the FBINAA National Office ■ Both parties sign contract which will provide the conditions and limitations concerning quality, reporting and royalty payments to the designated Chapter or the FBINAA ■ Receive Seal and provide to vendor ■ Vendor sends product sample to FBINAA to approve prior to production ■ Entitywill provide quarterly sales records and royalties to the Chapter or the National Office

Note: Each Chapter bears the responsibility for each event. Vendors cannot be approved for multiple Chapter events andmust receive approval for each event. The National Office agrees towaive the commission if the Chapter accepts oversight responsibility for vendor integrity to use the Seal. The commission exemption applies to only those products bought/sold during each Chapter event.

USE OF THE SEAL

BY CHAPTERS

For so long as the Chapter retains chapter status hereunder, the Chapter may use the Association’s name, NA Seal, and logo for the limited purpose of furthering the Association’s mission andmay use the Association’s Section 501(c)(3) status as defined by the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, and as authorized by the FBI Director, dated June 16, 2014.

BY MEMBERS

The official Seal will be provided to Members, at no cost, for the purpose of member use on items and email signatures that are not for profit sale items.

BY ACADEMIC AND STRATEGIC PARTNERS

Academic and Strategic Partners of the FBINAA shall not use or facilitate the use of FBINAA’s name, Seal, or other proprietarymark or identification, without advance, specific, written approval of FBINAA.
