French Escape Room On Thursday 25th April, Regents Park hosted a French escape room with Juju from Voyager travel. There was much anticipation from the Year 9 and 10 students about what they would have to do. Juju set up very early in the morning with very authentic props and interesting challenges. Students imagined that they were in Calais, trying to return to the UK but their passports were locked away in a safe. Failure to complete the challenges in the right order meant they were stranded in France. Quel dommage! Here is what Calum Simpson, Year 9 had to say: “The Escape Room was very entertaining – we were greeted by a friendly Frenchman in the school hall. Monsieur Juju explained the rules to us and we entered the inky black tent. It was good in learning French and developing linguistics skills. We learned how to communicate in groups and work as a team. It was an excellent day and we would definitely recommend it! Some students found that it was challenging yet engaging.” Other students left feedback for Juju: “Merci beaucoup. I enjoyed it oh so very much and would 100% definitely do it again”. “Very cleverly made, fun and enjoyable – would do again” “I loved it. J’adore!” “Soooo fun!” “I loved this challenge. It was really fun.” “I loved this opportunity. You need to run it again! My brain worked.
