It’s really fun- ny what goes thru a persons head in a situation like that…The thing that went thru my head was “I need to either do something, or nothing… and if I do “something”, then I darned well better be prepared and determined to go the distance!” Then I heard someone in the bank tell the robber, “We don’t need this. You need to get out of here”. IT was me!!!! Not normal at all…. The robber ignored me and repeated his demand for mon- ey and shook the bag at the young lady, who looked at me. I said loudly, “I said you need to get out of here, and you need to go NOW!” The man repeated his demand for money, and said “I’ve got a knife”. Now, this guy was wearing a pair of brown jersey work gloves, and he reached into his pocket with his LEFT hand, and came out with a small black folding knife that was closed.
