Swivel Knives They come in all shapes and sizes...But they all have the same job... CUT. This might come as a surprise to some folks.... but you don’t always get more when you pay more. My suggestions are as follows: make sure it fits your hand. The length, the barrel diameter, the shape and fit of the saddle will all affect the comfort of use for you. This staple of your tool rack will likely be in your hand as much as any other tool will be.Outside of that.... is it sharp ? Believe it or not, even a new razor blade right out of the package isn’t really all that sharp. The grooves caused when grinding the bevel in the blade cause resistance and drag... you simply have to polish/strop it by using Jewelers rouge on the back of a piece of veg leather. It really doesn’t take a lot... just a few strops will quite possibly change your mind on the “quality “ of swivel knife you have.

The new ergonomic design and rubber handle ensures comfort, reduces the force needed to grip and provides slip resistance, allowing you to have a smoother, more comfortable carving experience.
