This effect emphasizes the knots in the wood. A ntikeffekt (z. B. Meursault): Das Holz ist rund um die Äste von Hand gehobelt. Dieser Effekt betont die Äste im Holz.

A ntiek handgeschraapt (cf. Graves): Volgens de tekening van het hout wordt de toplaag handgeschraapt. A ntiqué raboté à la main (cf. Graves) : Selon le grain du bois la couche supérieure est gratté à la main. A ntique handscraped (cf. Graves): in accordance with the grain of the wood the top layer is hand scraped. A ntik handgehobelt (z. B. Graves): Das Holz der Decklage wird in Übereinstimmung mit der Maserung handgehobelt.

Arbois): Dit antikeerprocédé speelt subtiel met de houtnerf en leidt tot zeer mooie effecten, waarbij de natuurlijke schoonheid van de knoop benadrukt wordt en in het hout overvloeit door het droogproces aan te passen.
